 Tom has been in the hobby for 18 years now, and came across his job at Neptune Systems about two and half years ago, after he had already been installing Apex systems as his primary job at a retail and service company in NYC.  He believes that "there are a lot of different approaches to taking care of your aquarium, and everyone has their own little wrinkles in what works for them.  No two tanks are the same!"  Tom is a representative for Neptune Systems because he believes in "Less Hassle, More Success"! 

Dr. Emanuele - Avian & Exotics

Dr. Ashley Emanuele earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. She received her B.S. in Marine Biology from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island, and has conducted research with octopuses, cuttlefish, and sea turtles. Dr. Emanuele became North Carolina’s first Certified Aquatic Veterinarian in 2017, a distinction awarded by the World Aquatic Veterinary Medical Association.  As there are only 70 CertAqV doctors in the world, we were honored to have one speak at ReefSMART 2019!

Bill Wann has a background is in the pharmaceutical equipment industry, and he has always had a passion for large reef systems.   Disappointed by the quality and the lack of performance in available filtration equipment, he built his first large scale needle wheel skimmer back in 2006, and has been astounding large scale farming operations and mega system reefers all over the world with his innovative and functional designs ever since.  We are very excited to have Bill Wann, the founder of Aquarium Engineering, as ReefSMART 2019 Speaker!
